The Marjorie Vicente Memorial Scholarship Fund is in loving memory of Marjorie Vicente. Marjorie Vicente is a former student of the Bradley Union School District. Each year her parents sponsor the Annual Bulldog Fun Run in her memory to raise funds for the scholarship fund to assist students who have graduated from the Bradley Union School District attend college.
Students who have graduated from Bradley School are eligible to apply for the Marjorie Vicente Memorial Scholarship Fund upon graduation from High School. Any eligible student may be awarded the scholarship one time. The eligible student must also show proof of registration, prior to the award of the scholarship, at one of the following:
4 year public or private college or university
Community College
Trade, Business, Vocational or Art Institute
Military or Maritime Academy
Other Post Secondary Educational Institute that is accepted by a majority vote of the Marjorie Vicente Memorial Scholarship Board as meeting the continuing educational needs of an applicant.
Eligible students must also complete an application with all required materials attached for approval from Marjorie Vicente Memorial Scholarship Board.
The Marjorie Vicente Memorial Scholarship Fund shall not discriminate because of religion, gender, age, race, or creed.
Applications may be obtained at the Bradley Union School District office, The Bradley Post Office, or on the Bradley School website bradleyusd.org and shall be returned to the Bradley Union School District Office for verification. Applications will be forwarded to the Marjorie Vicente Memorial Scholarship Board.
The scholarship shall be awarded to all students who graduate 8th grade from Bradley Union School and submit a completed application. The Marjorie Vicente Memorial Scholarship shall be awarded annually and shall total [$1,000.00] one thousand dollars; no more. The scholarship shall be until such time as the scholarship fund expends all monies contained therein and the Marjorie Vicente Memorial Scholarship Fund shall cease to exist.
Recipient(s) of the Marjorie Vicente Memorial Scholarship shall be based upon the following criterion:

Application
Letter to the Marjorie Vicente Memorial Scholarship Board
Proof of registration
Proof of high school graduation
Applications must minimally contain all of the above items. If applications are not complete or an application is not received, the Marjorie Vicente Memorial Scholarship Board reserves the right not to award a scholarship in that year.
