Education Sites

The following sites can be used to access student curriculum from home: Use either the student's school Google Account to login to website, or login provided by teacher.  Please contact your child's classroom teacher if you have questions about websites or log-in information.  

  • My NG ConnectReach for Reading  program K-4: access stories, videos, curriculum on-line

  • McGraw-Hill Math: My Math K-6: access math help, videos, games on-line 

  • Discovery Education: K-8 Science: access Discovery videos about science, history, and more

  • Edmentum: K-8 Math, Reading, Language Arts set-up for each student

  • Khan Academy: use your school log-in to access your progress from class.  Remember to select your grade level Mission in order to practice your grade-level math standards

  • Big Brainz: Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, and Division Math Facts

  • MyON: online library of books for all ages

  • Accelerated Reading: School specific website where students can take quizzes on reading books

  • Scholastic Learn-at-Home: DAILY lessons K-8 connected with daily books, magazine articles, and activities

  • Starfall: TK-1st: reading and phonics review for students

  • Freerice: a website where users play various educational, multiple-choice games in a variety of subject matter, including math facts, geography, and vocabulary, in order to fight world hunger. It gives quiz questions where every correct answer donates 10 grains of rice through the UN World Food Program to help end hunger. 

  • GoNoodle: Free, fun brain/movement breaks for children of all ages.  Students use this in the classroom and definitely have their favorites.

  • BrainPop: free for families, once you make an account.  Has GREAT informational videos on just about every subject you can think of.  

  • Virtual Tours of Art Museums around the world: explore famous works of art from home

  • Petersen Automotive Museum: explore all things science and cars with a daily live-stream and activities.  Check out some of the cars they have in their collection.  They are totally EPIC!

  • Lunch Doodles with Mo Willems: draw like the author of your favorite Pigeon and Elephant & Piggie Books.  He posts a new one most days.  

  • Steve Spangler Science Experiments: awesome science experiments to conduct at home with items you have on hand.
